Draft: to be reviewed by counsel
This text is a draft. Every point marked "[To be reviewed by counsel: …]" still has to be completed and checked by a lawyer before this page is binding.
This policy explains which personal data PowerGridTools processes, why, and what rights you have.
1. Controller
The controller is the operator named in the imprint. [To be reviewed by counsel: contact details of the controller and, if required, of the data protection officer.]
2. Account data
For your account we process your username, e-mail address, display name, optional organization, your package and the security data needed to sign you in (a password hash, never the password itself).
3. Projects and files
Projects you save are stored in your private drive on our servers. Networks you analyse are sent to our analysis engine only to compute the results.
4. Contact requests
When you use the contact or request-access form, we store your request with the details you entered, and answer you by e-mail.
5. Security records
For security we record events such as sign-ins, sign-outs and administrative changes, together with the time and network address.
6. AI assistant
When you use Electra, your requests and the parts of the diagram needed to answer them are processed to provide the assistant. [To be reviewed by counsel: the AI model provider as processor, transfers and retention.]
7. Legal basis and retention
[To be reviewed by counsel: legal bases for each purpose and retention periods.]
8. Your rights
You may ask for access to, correction, export and deletion of your data. Use the contact form and choose "Delete my account and data" for deletion requests. [To be reviewed by counsel: supervisory authority and complaint rights.]
9. No tracking
The website uses no advertising or analytics trackers and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images.
